Al-Khwarizmi's influence on mathematics is immense. He is also widely considered the "Father of Algebra," a word that comes from the title of his most famous book: Al-Kitab al-Mukhtasar fi Hisab al-Jabr wal-Muqabala (The Compendious Book on Calculation by Completion and Balancing). In this work, he introduced systematic methods for solving linear and quadratic equations.
